This Privacy Policy describes how Raceform ("we", "us", or "our"), a product developed and owned by Paivio Media (CVR: DK-34310556), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Raceform mobile application and website at raceform.app.

1. Who We Are

2. Data We Collect

Account data: Name, email address, and encrypted password.
Athletic profile: Sport type, experience level, training frequency, and race schedule.
Wearable health data: With your explicit consent, we access Training Readiness score, HRV, sleep data, stress score, and activity data from your connected device. Used solely to generate personalised training recommendations.
Usage data: Anonymous analytics to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide personalised AI coaching based on your wearable health data
To generate your daily training plan and race countdown
To send product updates (with your consent)
To improve Raceform's AI coaching engine

4. Wearable Device Integration

Raceform integrates with wearable platforms. Wearable APIs may include (Garmin Connect, Polar, Suunto, Apple Health): Health and fitness data integration. When you connect your device, you explicitly authorise Raceform to read specific health and fitness data. You can revoke access at any time through your device's account settings or within the Raceform app.

5. AI Processing

Your health data is processed by our AI coaching engine to generate personalised training recommendations. Data sent to our AI engine is pseudonymised — we do not send your name or email as part of this processing.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Union. We use TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Right of access: Request a copy of your personal data
Right to rectification: Correct inaccurate data
Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account and data
Right to data portability: Receive your data in machine-readable format
Right to object: Object to certain types of processing
Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw wearable data access at any time

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Wearable health data is retained for a maximum of 90 days. You may request deletion at any time.

10. Cookies

The Raceform website uses only essential cookies required for security and session management. No tracking or advertising cookies.

Raceform is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
